For a limited number of private clients, Simone’s Vintage will search Japan for the rare, archival, and hard-to-find pieces you cannot locate elsewhere. You receive a focused search built around your exact specifications—plus experienced guidance, purchase coordination, and insured delivery.

How it works
Private sourcing, your way.
Pre-Authorized / Pre-Funded
Best for rare or fast-moving pieces. After your request is accepted, approve your specifications and purchase limit, sign your agreement, and provide cleared sourcing funds by September 23, 2026. Simone’s can then purchase immediately when a qualifying piece is found.
Approval Required / Not Pre-Authorized
Prefer to see the piece first? We’ll send photos, details, and estimated all-in pricing for written approval before purchasing. Cleared purchase funds are required before we can buy; because inventory moves quickly, availability cannot be guaranteed while approval or payment is pending.

$250 non-refundable sourcing retainer
15% sourcing fee
The $250 retainer is due only after your request is accepted and is credited toward the sourcing fee when a purchase is completed. Your sourcing agreement will confirm your approved budget and payment instructions.
Your timeline
1. Submit your request below.
Share the exact piece, size, color, material, era, condition, budget, acceptable alternatives, and any deal-breakers. Reference images are encouraged.
2. We review it personally.
If accepted, you’ll receive a personalized sourcing agreement, the $250 retainer invoice, and instructions for your chosen authorization path.
3. Complete payment and authorization.
Pre-authorized clients must provide cleared sourcing funds by September 23. Approval-required clients pay after approving a proposed piece and before purchase.
4. We source September 28–30.
We search Japan according to your agreement and keep you updated when a qualifying piece is located.
5. Your order is prepared for delivery.
Acquired pieces are condition-checked, coordinated for authentication where applicable, and shipped fully insured. Our target ship-by date is October 16, 2026; tracking follows once dispatched.
